GORDON STRACHAN has named his squad for the games v Qatar and Ireland - and called on a couple of Charlies to take Scotland on the next step to the 2020 Euros.
Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam returns from the cold, getting his first call-up since last March, while Celtic's Charlie Mulgrew goes straight back in after making his comeback on Friday night v St Johnstone.
Mulgrew's Celtic team-mate Leigh Griffiths was the other notable inclusion, alongside Derby's Johnny Russell, while Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor is out - in favour of Dundee's Scott Bain.
We discuss the call-ups and omissions in the latest Record Sport Football Show, with Keith Jackson revealing one of the key factors the Scotland boss takes into consideration when naming his squad.
Together with Gavin Berry we also look at the choice of opponent for the June friendly and whether it's right that Scotland take on Qatar, given their record on human rights and their World Cup preparations.
It's a particularly busy show today with Dave King's date with the SFA also on the agenda, with the national association also holding Motherwell's Premiership fate in their hands.
