Portugal Soccer game today

There's an international friendly on Tuesday's soccer TV schedule, with Portugal playing Italy on beIN Sport. the 2015 Women's World Cup continues on Fox with the USA in action against Nigeria. The 2015 Copa America is also on the soccer TV schedule.

Portugal vs Italy at 2:30pm on beIN Sport. This is an interesting game, originally scheduled for Doha, Qatar. On May 6, it was moved to Geneva. Oddly enough, the last time the two teams played was a friendly in Zurich in 2008. Cristiano Ronaldo isn't playing for Portugal and an injury during Saturday's game against Croatia means Italy is without their starting goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Portugal is ranked 7th in the world to Italy's 13th. Portugal had a tougher time than expected with Armenia in Euro 2016 qualifying Group I, winning 3-2 at Republican Stadium in Yerevan. Ronaldo scored all three of Portugal's goals. Portugal is top of the group with a two-point lead over Denmark. Italy came back to draw 1-1 with Croatia at Stadio Poljud in Split in Group H. They now trail Croatia by two-points at the top of the table.
